You have drawings ready
From us or from any other designer, and need a price to build them.

Service 02 · Construction and Build
We build the space: walls, ceilings, floors, electrics, plumbing, joinery and finishes. Our own staff do the work, so when something needs to move faster, we move our own people.

In plain terms
This is the building stage. You give us a design, ours or someone else’s, and we turn it into a finished space you can open and use.
The important difference is that our tradesmen are our own employees, not subcontractors we hire job by job. That matters more than it sounds. When a job falls behind, we move our own crews to fix it. We are not waiting for a subcontractor to answer the phone, and you are not stuck between companies blaming each other.
We work almost entirely in commercial buildings: offices, hotels, shops, clinics and restaurants. That means we already know the things that delay projects here: landlord permission, mall rules, working only at night, noise limits and the inspections that must be passed before you are allowed to open.
And we handle the government approvals ourselves. You do not spend your time chasing submissions.
From us or from any other designer, and need a price to build them.
Design, build, furniture and signage under a single contract and a single point of responsibility.
And need a contractor who plans backwards from it instead of hoping.
And the business cannot stop for the works.
And need a reliable contractor for ongoing alterations and refurbishment.
Our work
What is included
All of the work below is done by AGC staff. We bring in specialists only for things like lift works or specialist testing, and we tell you clearly when we do.
How it works, step by step
You get a written progress report every week, so you always know exactly where the job is.
We visit, measure and price the work line by line. You get a fixed price you can compare against any other contractor.
A signed contract with a start date, a finish date and a week-by-week plan.
We submit to the landlord, the municipality and civil defence, and manage the responses.
You approve real samples of every material before we buy anything.
Our teams build it. You get a written report every week with photographs and the percentage complete.
We start the fault-finding at 80% complete, not at the end, so there is time to fix things properly.
Final inspection, keys, and a complete folder of drawings, manuals, warranties and certificates.
A normal office of 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft takes 8 to 12 weeks on site once approvals are in hand. Allow another 3 to 6 weeks beforehand for drawings and government approval. Restaurants, clinics and hotels take longer because of specialist equipment and extra inspections.
Deliverables
Costs, and how we quote
We price from a measured bill of quantities. That means every item is listed separately with its own rate: so much per square metre of ceiling, per metre of partition, per unit of joinery. You can lay our quote beside anyone else’s and compare them line by line.
We do not give lump-sum guesses. A single number with no breakdown is how clients get caught later, because nobody can prove what was or was not included.
If you instruct a change during the works, we price it and get your signature before we do it. There is no such thing as a surprise bill at the end of an AGC contract.
Payment is staged against progress, so you pay for work that has actually been completed, not for promises.
Why clients choose AGC
Civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and finishing are done by AGC employees, not a chain of subcontractors.
Custom units are made in Abu Dhabi on a production slot we control, so they are not stuck in someone else’s queue.
Municipality, civil defence and landlord submissions are ours to manage, including attending the inspections.
If a material is delayed at the port or the landlord changes a rule, you hear it that day with options and a cost.
Something fails after handover, you call us, we come back. One company, one responsibility.
The worries clients tell us about
Only if you instruct a change, and then only after we have priced it and you have signed. Because the original quote comes from a measured bill of quantities rather than a guess, there is very little room for genuine surprises.
We programme backwards from your opening date and report progress against it every week in writing. If a risk to the date appears, you hear about it while there is still time to act, not at the end.
Yes. A large part of our work is in buildings that keep trading: offices, hotels and malls. We work nights, use dust screens and hoarding, protect your access routes, and agree the method with the building management before we start.
You have a twelve-month defects warranty with AGC, plus the manufacturer warranties in your handover folder. You call us directly. There is no subcontractor to track down.
One named project manager for the whole job, and the same senior people who priced it. We are not big enough to hand you to a stranger halfway through, and we think that is an advantage.

Cost depends far more on specification than floor area. A basic office fit-out costs considerably less per square foot than a client-facing corporate floor, and hospitality or clinic work costs more again. AGC prices from a measured bill of quantities so every rate is visible and comparable.
A standard office of 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft takes 8 to 12 weeks on site once approvals are granted, plus 3 to 6 weeks beforehand for drawings and approval. Restaurants, clinics and hotels take longer because of specialist equipment and extra inspections.
Yes. Most commercial fit-outs need landlord consent plus municipality approval, and civil defence approval where fire safety systems are affected. AGC prepares and submits these drawings for you and attends the inspections through to the final certificate.
Yes, and we do it regularly. We will review the drawings first and flag anything that is not buildable or that carries cost risk, so you find out at tender stage rather than halfway through the work.
Yes. We regularly work in occupied offices, hotels and malls using night shifts, dust screens, hoarding and protected access routes, with the working method agreed with building management before we start.
Turnkey means one contract covers everything (design, construction, furniture and signage) and you receive a finished space ready to use. It leaves a single company responsible, so there is nobody to pass blame between when a problem appears.
Yes. AGC gives a twelve-month defects warranty from handover, and your handover folder includes the manufacturer warranties for installed products plus all testing certificates and as-built drawings.
Ask every contractor for a measured bill of quantities, the name of the project manager who will run your job, and a list of the work they do with their own staff. Quotes with a single lump sum and no breakdown cannot be compared fairly.
Yes. Our head office and workshop are in Abu Dhabi and we deliver across all seven emirates. Projects outside Abu Dhabi get a site team based at the project for its duration rather than being managed remotely.
You are told as soon as we know, with the reason and the options. Our weekly written report tracks progress against the agreed programme, so delays surface early rather than at the end when nothing can be done.
No questions match that search. Ask us directly and we will answer within a working day.
